How To Make Air Fried French Fries
Ingredients
Large Russet Potatoes.
1 teaspoon of olive oil or oil of your choosing per large potato.
non stick cooking spray.
salt.
Preheat your air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit and spray your air fryers basket with nonstick cooking spray to keep the fries from sticking.
Cut the potatoes into 1/4 inch x 1/4 inch rectangles.
After cutting your fries into shape, put your fries in a bowl and rinse them with cold water, then let them soak for 20 minutes in cold water. After 20 minutes drain the water from your bowl of fries and pat your fries dry with paper towels or cotton cloth.
Toss the fries with the oil in a bowl, then sprinkle lightly with salt. Put your fries in an even layer in the air fryers basket making sure that your fries are not overlapping. You may have to make multiple batches to avoid overlapping the fries.
Cook your fries for 15-16 minutes, making sure to flip them around the 7-8 minute mark to ensure even cooking. Your Fries should be golden brown and crispy when they are done.
After you have cooked your fries take them out of the air fryer and season them again to your liking with your choice of salt and other seasonings.
